A Bit About Me
I coach athletes to become more than performers. My focus is on building responsibility, confidence, and long-term growth in environments where mistakes drive learning and trust fuels
development. I coach athletes to be problem solvers, asking open-ended questions that help cultivate their reflection process and help guide them through difficult situations. When I’m coaching, I want the athlete to know that I have trust in their decision making and they should too; I am just a reflection of the ability I see inside. I coach because I want to be that person for an athlete that I didn’t get when I played; I never want to be someone’s last coach.
I specialize in coaching tennis and hockey, but believe that the skills that really make an athlete successful can be applied to any sport. Starting out coaching girls high school tennis, I realized that I had a lot to learn. This led me to earning two master’s degrees in coaching. One in general coaching, with a focus on sport psychology and one in coaching education, with a focus on coach development. Combined with my previous experience as captain of two different collegiate teams, I seek to set the tone for a culture of gratitude, integrity and resilience. I mentor leaders who create accountable, athlete-centered environments where learning, reflection, and growth are the priority. Grounded in research. Built on trust. Driven by purpose
